The afternoon of March 30th, by the Graduate Management Association, the academic department hosted the tenth "big character" Academic Salon held in the center of campus B603. This activity by the school of management 2015, 2016 Industrial Engineering eleven students served as speaker, Professor, Associate Professor Wu Aihua, Zhang Xuzhu attended the event and served as the guest reviews.

The activities are divided into three parts: point of view, judges' comments and audience questions. The theme is "industrial engineering", "management science" or "Engineering Science"". First of all, the speaker was divided into two groups and presented their views to the audience present. The first group of students that belong to the scientific management of industrial engineering, the interpretation of them around the concept, the application of industrial engineering methods, such as the essential attribute, show that industrial engineering is the foundation, comprehensive use of various disciplines of knowledge and ideas, grasp the key technology of modern production management in Science and engineering, its purpose is to serve the management activities. The second group of students raised different views that industrial engineering should belong to engineering science. They point out from the historical evolution, the concept contrast, the case analysis and so on, the industrial engineering is the technical process which integrates the resources and realizes the resources highly effective utilization, its essence is the engineering science.

After the two groups explained, the guests and the two groups of students were discussed deeply, and some pertinent comments and suggestions were put forward for the future academic research of the students. Subsequently, the audience also on the theme of communication with the principal students, to achieve mutual collisions thinking.
